Denim Skirts. We’ve all had them.
They’re what we pleaded with our mothers for at Limited Too.
This season, it’s all about denim. With spring on the horizon, it’s time to start thinking about the pieces that will transition well into the warmer months. Although this is my first denim skirt since my tweens, I couldn’t be more excited. Jean shorts, though comfortable, have spread themselves a little thin. They are what I gravitate towards when wearing a tank, a button up, or a distressed T-shirt. Jean skirts are changing the game. They’re just as comfortable, but convey a more feminine side. ( although, paired with some black boots and a leather ( faux, of course) jacket– and you’ve got the rocker chic look down. I love working with patterns, like this fox/ striped print. Tucking in a button up makes the look a little bit more structured, which can be balanced out with casual shoes.
Athletic wear. Everyone knows that companies like Adidas and Nike have been doing abominably well. “Athleisure” as the trend is coined, doesn’t seem to be going anywhere, any time soon. People don’t want to sacrifice style for comfort anymore. Up until this point, most of my sneakers have served as “weekend shoes” or “running shoes” ( when I actually run?). These white sneakers have become my lastest obsession. They bring a sporty element to any look, but are chic at the same time. Tommy Hilfiger obviously knows where it’s at.
